2) Re : Timber Mouldings (For USA “WM-Series†/ Europe / Australia / Japan)
Our company involves dealing with all types of timber mouldings. Our experience in this moulding business started way back to year 1967 where there were plentiful of raw material supplies all over Malaysia and Indonesia regions. Today, unfortunately we are currently facing huge shortage of raw materials and also due to the high cost of production and labor expenses in Malaysia, hence we resort in changing our operation a little to stay competitive in the market but still keeping our tropical wood moulding in production.
Recently, we have expanded our operation to China and are pleased to inform you that we have already started producing mouldings, door jambs and casings using LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) (Refer to Appendix). All our mouldings are “prime white” coated for export.
In conjunction with promoting and practising environment sustainable forestry management, we are using the specie “Poplar”, which is a replanted tree in China, and slice into veneers and then laminate into solid blocks. Enclosed herewith some pictures of the LVL wood after laminated.
Our recent shipment to Canada consist of “Prime White” door jamb all in 7ft length (Size : 11/16″ x 4-9/16″ x 7ft only) packed in 2 sets a carton. This shipment is expected to arrive Canada end of this week and if our quality is acceptable, we are planning to produce in a much larger volume up to 15 x 40ft containers per month.Hope we can co-operate closely together and make this business successful with mutual benefit. If interested, perhaps we can make a trial order of 1 x 20ft container, and if the door jamb is good we can try to discuss for a larger volume in near future.
